Hi, I’m Mya!

Welcome! I’m a homeschooling, working mom of three busy boys (ages 10, 9, and 1), and a firm believer that adventure doesn’t have to wait for the “perfect” season of life.

Our camping journey started in a tent—with a 9-month-old—and, just to keep things interesting, I was six months pregnant at the time. That first year taught me something I’ll never forget: having kids isn’t a step back from adventure—it’s an entirely new way to experience it.

After one particularly memorable (and very flooded) camping trip, we decided it was time to upgrade and bought our first RV. From our very first trip, we were hooked. Every time we saw that RV sitting in our driveway, we felt the pull to get back on the road.

Like many families, we’re not full-time RVers. We have jobs, responsibilities, and a home base we love. Instead of waiting for “someday,” we chose to start answering the call of the road in the season we were in.

Living in upstate New York, we once thought camping was limited to just a handful of trips each year. But season by season, my husband encouraged us to get out more, and what started as a few trips quickly turned into 20+ adventures a year. Along the way, I realized that if we were going to keep this up, I needed simple, realistic systems to pack, plan, and make it all work with our busy life.

That’s what this blog is all about. Whether you’re traveling across the country or heading to a campground close to home, I’m here to help you simplify the prep, embrace the chaos, and confidently say YES to more camping. So join us as we help you find your family’s adventure in any season of life!
